Verdi on stage

Photographic record and catalogue of the “Verdi on Stage” exhibition in Milan, Parma, and then touring the United States after New York. A hundred and ten pictures of the most famous Giuseppe Verdi operas: La Traviata, Il Trovatore, Macbeth, Rigoletto, Un Ballo in Maschera, Aida, and two different productions of Falstaff and Othello, photographed live in the prestigious theatres of La Scala Milan, Teatro Regio of Parma, Teatro Verdi of Busseto and the NHK of Tokyo.

Accompanying the photographs, texts by: Natalia Aspesi, Pierluigi Petrobelli, director of the Istituto Verdiano of Parma, Quirino Conti, Mauro Meli and Franco Zeffirelli.
