C'era una volta in India...

“This book is a fairy-tale, the story of a miracle, of the realisation of a project that never could have been imagined and yet came into being.”  A fairy-tale told through the pictures that the author, the photographer journalist Graziella Vigo, took during continual journeys and long stays in India. It is the story, through the course created by her photographs, of the great adventure of the Care & Share Association, in the agricultural region of Andhra Pradesh – one of the poorest parts of India  -- which managed to create , starting off with an arid pasture, first an elementary school for three hundred children and then a whole village now peopled by nearly eight hundred children, survivors of incredible histories of violence, poverty and hunger, giving them with teaching and medical care a real expectation of life.
